Hi, 

I have to note this somewhere, so here's a good place.

I've managed to be realistic about some books on my huge TBR list over at GR, but it's not getting smaller b/c new books keep coming out. Also I'm way behind on actually reviewing books I've read, so I hereby am getting serious!

I've made a spreadsheet with the help of another lovely bookworm, and I joined a "beat the backlist" challenge. The goal is to read books published pre-2018, which won't be hard since I never got to 2016's books.

**ORIGINAL GOAL: My current goal is going to be 35, and if I hit that, I'll update to a larger number.

**UPDATED FEBRUARY 22 2018 -- I overshot 35 before today, so my new goal is a more realistic 100, and I'll only update if I hit 100 before June or July. 

I'll be adding a shelf here & keeping track here, since my goal is to keep booklikes realistic, usable & not just a huge pile of unruly books that sounded good at some point. The tag will simply be "backlist".

• Funny and useful way to deal with that TBR comes from PaperFury
• And once I started using that spreadsheet, I needed Library Extension which will soon work in FireFox as well as Chrome.
• Loving Libby, the audio and eBook app from Overdrive that connects to my library as well as Cloud Library, all of which have saved me time and money already this year AND forced me to read older books when I've used up all my holds. 
• Finally another plug for bookoutlet.com or bookoutlet.ca if you're in Canada. I have a coupon if anyone wants to try them - super-inexpensive books.
